It is unlikely that this is the size of the card. I rendered on such huge cards that you are unlikely to reach them and everything was fine. Although these were cards from Nuclear Dawn and there was optimization there, maybe you don’t have it … I myself am not friends with the optimization of cards), maybe your car is weak … Render goes through the video card. What is your model?

By the way, I can throw you a dozen excellent ready -made cards in a similar atmosphere for your series. For creating your quality cards for a long time, and there everything is already ready.

I’m going to make my own card to the next series, this too large and SFM lags quite strongly because. I suspect that he was killed due to the size of the card when he tried to rendering in 1920×1080, so I had to do 720p. On the new card, light sources are located on the map and, I hope, it will turn out to create realistic lighting. Thanks for the advice.
Frensis, I tried to avoid screamers and more emphasis on incomprehensibility of what is happening, escalating the atmosphere. Unknown scares more blurry. Of course, of course, all the same, it was not there and it will be in the future in the future, but in any case I will try to do no more than 1-2 science per series.

GTX 760 video card, chapter because of it. With a render above than 720p on the final video, there were interference in the form of any grinding, squeaks and, in addition, shots rode around the screen painted in different colors. In general, horror was happening.
About the cards, I don’t think it will help me. Rather limit. I do not want to adjust all events to someone else’s card again. In fact, I simply need boxes with several windows, Skybox and several fences / trees outside. I will add everything else in SFM. So I can handle it myself.
