Before starting the review, I would like to tell a little about the sound. At first I thought to plunge into the technical component, but I thought that you can google it yourself, and who needed it? Better I will talk about how it is felt. So, 7.1 volumetric sound.
What these numbers mean? In my opinion, here is a more or less correct definition from Wikipedia: “Designations, such as 7.1, means that these are 7 channels with a full frequency range and 1 channel with a limited frequency range (low -frequency effects channel) ”.

Now we can talk about how it is felt and here I would like to express my opinion.
Let’s imagine that you are standing in front of the TV, playing the console, and you have 1 speaker connected to it (to the TV). The sound goes straight to you, it does not divide the right and left. It turns out that we have a mono sound – sound from one source. Add the second speaker: put the first a little to the left, the second to the right, we get sound 2.0. Now we hear the sound on the left and right. By the way, headphones 2.0 stereo and give such an effect. Both speakers give the same sound, and you hear things in front of you;But if someone in the game bypasses you from the side, then you hear from which side: to the left or right. This effect cannot be made physically using 1 dynamics. But in 2.0 there is a nuance: the sound received at least some volume, but still something is missing. That’s right – there is no smoothness. Add the 3rd speaker. He will be responsible for the middle (frontal sound), it turns out 3.0. As a result, we have one speaker in front of you and two on the sides. Now that someone is moving, for example, to the left of the center, the central speaker gradually subsides, and the left, on the contrary, enhances the sound. Thus, it becomes clear which direction to, say, the enemy in the game went. In sound 2.0 both speakers should always give a frontal sound, so a smooth effect is lost. And it would seem, everything is fine. But I would like to add more bass. Here we add the number 1. And we get 3.1 – three speakers and one subwoofer.
But I want to hear what is happening from behind. Then add 2 speakers back and get sound 5.1. Why 2? If you put it back 1 speaker, then you will not be able to determine from behind to the left or back to the right. Yes, sound 4.1 or 4.0 has the right to be, but still this is not enough to immerse in the game or in the cinema. And so we got to volumetric sound 7.1. Now our scheme looks like this: one frontal speaker, two speakers on the sides of the front (on the left of you and on the right), two more speakers to the left and right of you, two speakers in the back and one subwoofer. In this situation, you hear everything that happens around you. Does anyone come to you, and from which side. But all this is implemented technically.

Technologies on the spot are not worth it, so with the help of only 2 speakers and software, people have learned to imitate voluminous sound. From here we get a virtual sound 7.1, as in these headphones from Sony. What is bad virtual sound? He tends to make mistakes. Therefore, sometimes it happens that you cannot by ear to determine where the source of this sound. Sometimes it happens that some sounds fall out. For example, if you pressed in the wall in the wall with your left ear, there is a feeling that you were stuffed a finger in your ear, a little muffled, but you can hear all the sounds on the right. There are these problems because of poor sound design in the game. And depending on how well the virtual sound has been worked out by manufacturing companies, and your impression will be developed. Cheap solutions usually have problems with imitation or emulation of sound, and therefore it is better to really take headphones 2.0. But here it is just on the market that headphones from Sony appear, in which the solution on two speakers gives out normal virtual sound 7.1.

I played for some time in them and would like to share my opinion, suddenly someone was going to take such a thing, and there is not much information about the headset.

I want to say right away that for 5999 rubles these are excellent headphones. Holding the price in the mind, I’ll tell you about my short experience of using.

3. Battery. Announced 8 hours of autonomous work – 6 hours holds for sure. But you need to know one thing – you can use the headphones in the off mode by chopping a wire with a mini jack (3.5). So, if you forgot to charge, you can use with a wire, however, in mode 2.0 – stereo.

4. Convenience on the head. I got on me like gloves, my ears are small, nothing puts on my ears and I don’t feel much weight. There is one but – even now, in winter, at room temperature in them becomes hot. In the summer, the ears will sweat for sure.

5. Sound in games. At least 7.1 here is virtual (well, what did you want for these grandmothers?), this 7.1 here is felt normally. I played 4 games: COD ww2 multiplayer, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Multiplayer, RDR2 plot, Spider-Man plot. I must say right away that I used the School preset for the shooters, for the RODR Rockstara, the handsome men werehed down their preset for Sonya, and the spider had to play without presets, since the choice of stops for the games is limited: “Shooter” and “Martial Arts” or if the outfits werehed down their own. But when you turn off the preset, the problem has gone. I later launched her (sorcerer) with Preset – there was no more such problem or did not notice. In general, you can hear who runs where: back or front, right or from the left. Sometimes from behind I did not determine by ear.

Spider-Man-I praised the game, but apparently, they worked worse on the sound than everything else. Yes, there is no pence under the genre. But all the games that I played sound good: what’s wrong with him;And Spider-Man sounded so-so: you can play in stereo-you will not lose anything.
RDR2 – It sounds good without preset, everything can be heard clearly, the sound is very voluminous, I did not feel any subsidence, as in the college. And turning on the preset, as if he himself went on a horse in the field: the crickets and animals sound like alive, as if all are near and around you-everything is clear and clear who was where, I was delighted. Rockstar confused and worked with sound, turning on his preset in this empty application from Sonya. 8. Functions. There is a MUTE on a microphone, there is a sound adjustment, there is an adjustment of the sound of a chat – you can do louder or quieter than interlocutors, which is convenient. There is a shutdown function 7.1, then you will hear everything in 2.0.

For 5999 rubles these headphones can be safely taken. Yes, sound 7.1 virtual, from here sometimes nuances arise, but for some reason there are no nuances in RDR! If the game does not support 7.1, then most likely in this case there is a “fall” of sound. But damn it, everything works well all the same. There are no analogues at this price adequate. And even if you take headphones from the same Hyperx more expensive with a sound card – it is not a fact that 7.1 will work better there. There are more questions for the developers why they do not work with sound like the same Rockstar … I also checked the range of wireless headphones with the prefix- within the same room it catches.

If someone has doubts that you are not heard 7.1. Well then turn off by pressing one button sound 7.1 and you will hear the difference – it is, and in online shooters you get an advantage.
